how do i change my computer name in win98 ??thanx

Click Start, Settings, Control Panel, Network, Identification tab and enter a new name.
The computer name must be unique for each computer on the network. It should be no more than 15 characters in length. The workgroup name is usually the same for all computers on a small network, so that all of them are visible in the same workgroup when browsing. You should not use spaces or the following characters in computer and workgroup names:
/ \ * , . " @
I use all caps for computer and workgroup names. WORKGROUP is a safe workgroup name.
