External CD Burner

I am looking for an external CD-Burner. I would like to hear some input. I was told it is not worth the money. I should look into installing an internal to a desktop. I would like to have it with me when I travel with my laptop.

I wouldn't buy one, especially one that plugs into a printer port. Too sloooow. Larry

We just got one so we could transfer it between computers. Its was an HP 8220e external with USB. Seems to be working well with Win2K pro.
