I've got a HP Vectra VL 5/75 running WIN98 w/ 80 meg RAM & for some reason it seems to drop time. I can set it for Noon @ noon & within a few weeks, it's minutes behind if not close to an hour behind.Any suggestions? Sincerely, ra byn james 1. That can be caused by a weak battery, an application, or a defective motherboard. The clock is crystal controlled and works much like a digital watch. The logic for it is usually in one of the main motherboard chips ("Southbridge" example: http://duxcw.com/digest/Reviews/MBs/msi/ms6167/ms6167.htm). Try a new battery. If that doesn't work, I'd learn to live with it. Larry
