I have 2 P.C's networked using a crossover cable I have no trouble with file and print shating etc. etc. My P.C has 2 nic's and an adsl connection which works fine but ics wont work on my sister's everything is setup right and ics is enabled on my pc it just doesn't work at the other end. my pc runs win ME my sisters is running win 98. can anyone help ? pleeze, thanx in advance 1. Have you read http://duxcw.com/digest/Howto/network/win98se_cab/intro.htm (the procedure is quite similar)? Which computer is the client? Try opening a DOS window on the client and pinging the ICS host: C:\>ping 192.168.0.1 If that works, try C:\>ping 216.92.56.121 If that works try browsing to http://216.92.56.121 If that works, you have a DNS configuration problem. The info you have provided is rather sparse… Please post the network configurations on both computers if you need more help. Larry

Make sure the IP of the ICS PC... is entered in "gateway" of the client.
