DSL sharing.

I need some help !
I have one desktop and one laptop both with
ethernet adapters. I also have dsl modem and
an ethernet 5 port hub.I really could use
some suggestions.This is how my LAN will look like.But I"m not sure wether it will work properly using TCP/IP.
Desktop------HUB---------Laptop

I really could use any good ideas because I've did that before.

Your configuration should work. However, you could use a crossover cable between the desktop and laptop and get rid of the hub. Basic guidlines are at http://duxcw.com/digest/Howto/network/win98se_cab/intro.htm. Just substitute DSL for cable MODEM. I would substitute SyGate for ICS as well, but I have done it with both. Larry
