Which way do I go??

I have a directPC satellite internet connection (phone line for uploads) and I want to network 2 desktops and 1 laptop. I have no idea which method to use or why one over the other. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If it connects to your PC with a 10BASET Ethernet, a router is the best way to do it. See http://duxcw.com/faq/ics/waysshare.htm. Larry

My hookup comes from my dish to my Sat. receiver box with a coax and to my CPU with a USB cable. Bob

I would check for an alternative RJ-45 Jack/Ethernet output from the receiver. It may have both. Without it, you can't use a router and you'll have to use a software solution as elaborated in the link in my last post. Larry
