just installed the dfe 538tx, recognized the card but wont load the drivers off the disk, any trick.

First remove the adapter in Start, Settings, Control Panel, System, Device Manager or Start, Settings, Control Panel, Network, Configuration. If there are multiple instances of the driver, remove them as well. Using the Windows Explorer, determine what directory on the floppy the appropriate drivers are located. When Windows can’t find a driver, browse to that directory or type it into the box. If it can’t find it there, browse to the Win98 directory on the Windows CD or to location where the Windows cab files are located on your hard disk drive, it they are on the hard disk drive. They are usually located in C:\windows\options\cabs for Windows 9x and C:\Windows\options\install for Windows Me. Do not skip any files; they are somewhere. Larry
