I have a problem with my network. I have two computers with just TCP/IP installed which communicate fast with each other, but when I attempt to access the network from by business laptop with three protocols (TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, and NetBEUI), it takes almost two minutes to open a folder over a 100mbps nework! Why is this? Help!

Try swapping cables with one of the fast computers. See http://duxcw.com/faq/network/bm.htm and http://duxcw.com/faq/network/brreq.htm. “Playing” with the TCP/IP parameters in the Windows registry of the laptop can cause performance problems. Try uninstalling and reinstalling everything network on the laptop. Larry
