I would like to network(file sharing between 2 pc's) without internet connection sharing.Computer specifications;
pc #1 Named "P4" -Workgroup "Home" (Is this setting case sensitive ?)
OS:win98se
cpu:Pentium 4 1.8ghz
RAM:512megs
HardDrive-60gigs
It is currently connected to the internet via
Verizon ADSL USB Efficient Networks Speed Stream
4060 CIP/1483 using iVasionPoET Adapter.
It also has an installed 10/100 PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter Card that is connected to a hub. All led lights are steady on (including the NIC led's).
PC #2: Named "AMD"- Workgroup "Home"

RAM:512 60gig hard drive
Network card= D-Link 530TX+PCI adapter that is connected to the hub and all led's are steady on.
In both pc's, in network neighborhood,they can only see themselves.
How do I set up pc#1 "P4" to access the internet via the USB DSL modem and also share and access files with pc#2 "AMD" ?
How do I set up pc#2 "AMD" to share and access files with pc#1 "P4" without accessing the internet via "P4" ?
I would also like them to be set up to run multiplayer games between themselves (non internet play). (Unreal Tournament LAN play.)
Any advise or help would be greatly appreciated and compensated. (I am a graphics and photo enhancer, game level designer and general computer artist).
