Sharing ADSL w/ two Pentium computers
professoryam Jul-09-00 08:58 PM
I'm planning to get ADSL(w/ one IP address) in late July. Is it possible to share ADSL with two Pentium computers without setting up one computer as a server? This way I can save some energy and money. Also, is the following setup virtually possible?

ADSL modem

hub - PIII 700

It is possible, but you will need a second IP address from your provider and that will usually entail an additional monthly fee. Internet sharing is really sharing an IP address. Larry
