Does anyone know the best way to setup an FTP Server using Windows XP? I am afraid to just try software like Serv-U FTP not knowing whether it is compatable with XP. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe XP Pro comes with IIS, which has an FTP server. I see a bunch of IIS files in D:\i386 on the XP Pro CD. I have not used it and do not know how it stacks-up against other FTP servers, but I have installed the IIS FTP server on an NT server. That installation was not too difficult. IIS does not install by default. Be sure to check on security patches before installing IIS. Larry
