>Don't you need the XP firewall???No. You probably don’t need it either. It most likely is not better or as good as the router’s security features. http://www.dlink.com/products/broadband/di704p/:
“The DI-704P provides two levels of security support. First, it masks the IP addresses of computers within the local network from the Internet, thus making it more difficult for a hacker to target a specific computer within the local network. Secondly, it can block and redirect certain ports to limit the services that outside users can access.”
To enable or disable the Windows XP Internet Connection Firewall, Click Start, Control Panel, double–click Network Connections, select the Internet connection, Network Tasks, Change settings of this connection, Advanced tab, Internet Connection Firewall, uncheck or check the Protect my computer and network by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the Internet check box.
