Network printer problem on Winnt 4.0 and win98se peer-to-peer

i have 2 pcs: winnt 4 workstation sp6 and win98se, both are using 10/100 nic card and using a 25m crossed cable. An epson stylus 640 is connected to the win98.
I have installed Netbuei on both PCs. Both PCs are able to see one another in network neighbourhood, and file sharing is ok. however problem is network printing. (i have followed all steps in the file/print sharing, with the correct print driver setup) whenenver i print, the error occurs: The parameter is incorrect.
On my winnt box, it is a dual-boot with win98se, and network printing is ok.
What else could be wrong?

Try turning off bi-directional printing on the NT machine. Larry

thru the pc-bios or in NT itself?

I don't have a bi-directional printer set-up. Look in Start, Settings, Printers... printer properties. Larry
