no problem yet I just want to know how to do this.
The DSL is currently on the win98se but I will
probably move it to the winxp computer when I
buy it. I may upgrade the win98se computer to
winxp, do you think that would make the networking
and DSL sharing easyer?

My impressions from installing ICS on several XP computers… Using XP as the ICS host is better than using 98SE as the host. 98SE works about as good as XP as an ICS client and is easier to manually install, if you are familiar with 98 networking and not with XP networking. If your hardware will support XP and all of your hardware is compatible with XP, I would say that XP is a better operating system overall than 9X/Me. XP is expensive as compared to win 9X/Me. XP has a serious security flaw which should be corrected on both the Win 98SE and XP computers immediately after networking them and before connecting either of them to the Internet. See the summary on my home page (and later in Previous Summaries) dated 12/26/01 for details. Larry
