I have networked my 2 home computers and I am haveing no problems with sharing files. I was woundering how I can share my cable connection without having to purchase a hub, switch,or router. If it is possible any info would be greatly appreaciated. 1. RE: Internet Sharing w/ win 2000 on a crossover connection lbyard Jan-10-02 04:19 PM In response to message 0
Use Win 2K Internet Connection Sharing per http://duxcw.com/faq/ics/2kics.htm. If you have a cable MODEM with an Ethernet interface, you will need a second network adapter for Win 2K ICS. There are third party ICS programs, such as the latest version of SyGate (http://duxcw.com/digest/Reviews/Network/sygate/sygate.htm; the review is of an older version), that can do it with one adapter. A router would be much better. Larry
