Connect Wireless Linksys to Wired Linksys

Hello!
I currently have a small lan of 3 machines. They are all working fine and running on a Linksys Router with 4 port switch connected to cable internet. I wish to add a wireless option to this mix for my laptop and also add a few more ports while I am at it. I connected a Linksys Wireless Router with 4 port switch to one of the numbered ports on the Linksys router. I am going into the Uplink port on the Wireless Router. The additional two machines connected to the Linksys Wireless can access the network fine as well as the other machines all working fine, however, the additional two machines connected to the Linksys Wireless don't have internet access while the other machines do. Obviously both routers default to 192.168.1.1 Should I change the IP of the Linksys Wireless I added? Also, I use DHCP with the default settings and it obtains automatically on all machines, which are running Windows 98. Please tell me what settings I need to change on the Linksys Wireless to give these two added machines not only Lan access but internet access with my Cable connection.

Although I’ve done it, I would not cascade one router on to another. For that manner, contrary to the popularity of wireless networks, I don’t like them. They cost too much and they are not as reliable as old-fashioned wire. On top of that, you have two NATs and two DHCP servers running (http://duxcw.com/faq/ics/diffrout.htm) or a can of worms (roughly 2 times the diagram at http://www.ussw.com/products/usnet/index.html). Experiment, but I would get rid of one of the routers. Larry

Got both routers working with each other. It seemed I was looking for a complicated solution! I was using the port on the wireless router right next to the uplink port. When I switched the one cable, everything came up fine. I have internet and Lan on all machines including the wireless laptop. You were right though, Larry, very tricky to cascade the two routers together! Thanks!
