10Mps vs 100Mps

I have a small 3 client network at home. I am connecting the 3 using a 8-port 10/100 auto detect hub. 2 of the clients have a pci 10/100 auto network cards and the 3rd is a laptop with a 10/100 auto pcmcia card. Everything was working fine until I connected a isdn router. Now, my network still functions, but I cannot connect to the router unless I change the network card settings to 10Mps transmission. I thought that was the purpose of the autodetect cards and hubs?????

OK, I scanned all 213 pages in the manual and found no answer. It is a very complicated box with many configurable options. The inability of the NICs to auto-negotiate with the router may be by design to prevent a wrong setting on the NICs causing router malfunction. At this point I would call Adtran. You may need to flash the router firmware. You may need a switch to split the network into 10 and 100 Mhz segments. There are 10/100 ISDN routers and router/hub combos. But I would call Adtran first. Brian,
The Express 6110 does not support 100Mps. The unit also does not work on
auto sensing circuits. You will need to set the port connected to the 6110
to 10Mps.

With this problem/question:
I have a small ethernet network with 10/100 auto detect network cards
connecting to a 10/100 auto detect hub with cat5 cable. I have no trouble
connecting to clients at 100Mps with the network cards set at auto, but I
cannot connect to the 6110 Adtran router that I have connected to the hub.
If I change the network cards to 10Mps then I can connect to the router. Do
I have to configure something in the router?
