Networking two windows 98 computers to direcway satelite

I just installed dfe-530tx+ D-Link network adapter cards in both with drivers. Do I need a crossover cable to connect these or straight with a router? I been trying to find a router that my satelite will plug into. It's a USB connection.

I only know of one USB router (http://duxcw.com/faq/ics/dratek.htm) and I don’t think it will work. http://duxcw.com/faq/ics/waysshare.htm. I would attempt to the service provider to provide a replacement satellite box with an Ethernet connection. Larry
