I have a broadband connection on the 4th story of my house and I want to network computers on my second and first floors without all the wires. I dont think wireless would work because of all of the floors and walls. I think the best solution would be the Linksys Homeplug but i cant figure out when this device comes out for sale. Does anybody know? ALSO: I am considering running the connection through my phone-line, does anybody have this set up? If so, how well does it work in terms of connection speed and reliability? Thanks. 1. RE: HOMEPLUG lbyard Apr-05-02 10:43 AM In response to message 0

Of course, I should have added that I would run CAT 5e cable. Just because it's soooo much fun runnng the stuff through four stories of walls, closets, ec. One reason why I like ranch-style houses. Larry

Never used it, but have heard some good reviews about www.2wire.com. Same principal of what Larry was suggesting, using phone lines in your house. It also has wireless and usb nic abilities. Will try and give some more info when I can actually get my hands on some of the pieces.MC
