I would like to know how to network an older Macintosh G3 with a new Gateway2000 running an AMD Athalon 500MHz through 10/100 ethernet with a CAT5 crossover cable. The main purpose of this network is for printer sharing...I want the PC to be able to print to the Macintosh's printer...I have not tried this as yet, and i am familiar with Windows networking, but need tips on configuring the Mac. _thanks 1. I'm afraid can't help with the Mac. It's been a long time since I've networked them; but I probably could get it working if I had it here. Try searching TidBITS, http://tidbits.com/. See our How to's for the Gateway. Larry
