Confirm that the XP firewall is deactivated… Right-click My Network Places icon on the Desktop, Properties, right-click Local Area Connection, Properties, Advanced, uncheck Internet Connection Firewall, OK, Yes when prompted.Start, Run, enter winipcfg select the network adapter to the Barricade and Release and Renew the IP address from the Barricade DHCP server. You should see it change.
In the Internet Explorer be sure nothing is checked in Tools, Internet Options, Connections tab, LAN settings.

In Netscape Netscape go to Edit, Preferences, Advanced, and check Direct Connection to Internet.
Connect to the Barricade HTML interface with your browser using the following URLs:
SMC7008BR and SMC7004BR routers… http://192.168.123.254/
SMC7004ABR routers… http://192.168.2.1
Or, whatever IP you may have previously assigned to the router. The above IPs are factory defaults.
