I have ADSL service(PPPoE)512/128 via an Alcatel USB modem (supplied by my provider 'iPrimus'(Australia)and share the adsl service via Windows ME ICS. I like to configure a Cisco 675 modem/router to replace the Alcatel. I can't get the Cisco to link with internet (no green light on the WAN LED). Shouldn't it light up automatically once I connect the adsl cable? The Alcatel lights up easily.
I have tried various configurations of the Cisco to no avail.
Hope someone can shade some light
