I'm wanting to send video and audio signal from the second story of my house down to the basement. We currently have a small home network set up. My video card on the computer upstairs has TV out, as we have a big screen TV in the basement. Is there any possible way to rig up a system to put the A/V signal over the CAT-5 cable, send it to the basement, change the connections again, and put it to the TV? In my mind, all I envision is getting each type of cable that I need and crossing some wires, but I'm not sure if the CAT-5 wires can support that much signal. Any help would be appreciated. 1. I understand that CAT5 can do it, but it would probably cost a lot more than just running RG-6 coax cable. There are some links in this thread: http://duxcw.com/dcforum/DCForumID2/1848.html. Larry
