I am logged on as Administrator on my Windows 2000 Server
5.00.2195 SP 2.
Whenever I try to open the Network and Dial-up Connections
folder either by right-clicking My Network Neighborhood or
through the control panel, I get the following error:
"You do not have permission to open the Netowork and Dial-
up Connection folder." It then opens Internet Explorer to
a "Action Canceled" pageI even tried to get to one of the dial-up profiles through
another software app that is set-up to edit profiles and
get this error: "Cannot load phone book. Error 621 The
system could not open the phone book file."
"Windows reports error: 621 trying to access this function"
I can't imagine how the administrator lost permission to
access this folder and have no idea how to get it back.
Thanks for your help
Brian
