hey all.. im have a problem with ics with one way cable. i previously had my two computers ICS on a dial up connection and it worked fine.. but then i went and got 1 way cable... and ofcourse the cable modem is attached to the host computer.. when i hooked the ics for the host computer i had no problems adding the ics feature to it and connecting to the net. (prior i uninstalled ics from both so that i could set ics for high speed access) but when i got to the other computer i go to add/remove software and go to internet tools and try to check ICS i keep getting the message -
"Your network configuration is incomplete. Please install your network hardware before installing ICS"I have tried everything to try to figure out why this message keeps displaying.. have checked the ethernet card, i have checked in the network connectiongs... The ethernet card is installed and both computers are networked.. but i can use the ICS.. im trying to figure out what im missing here.. im sure tis something simple but i have just been so busy lately.. if anyone can help me please.. feel free. hehe.. me is stomped!!
the ethernert card that is on the NON-host computer that im having problems with ICS is the same ethernet card that i used for the dial up ICS... so.. where have i gone wrong..
thanx
