win 98 not seeing win NT

I have connected 2 PCs one running win 98 and the other win NT workstation 4.0 vis ethernet. both PC use TCP?IP protocol. win NT is seeing the win 98PC but not vice versa. Please help me

chck this for now
on the 98 go to the network settings and see if u have
ms clients
tcp\ip installed and file & print sharing
try to ping the nt machine and give me the results
first try and ping your own machine if that works it means that tcp\ip is setup correctly.
go to dos from within windows and type
PING 127.0.0.1 for your local computer.
