Barricade AND Hub, or just Barricade alone?

Pardon my relative ignorance. I'm really new to home networking.
Our small office was 2 standalone PC's, one with DSL internet, the other with dial-up. We're adding a 3rd PC and now want to network all 3 and share the DSL connection.
From your reviews, and other research, the Barricade looks like maybe the best solution for DSL sharing - if i assume it works as well with DSL as with your cable modem. But will it give us the file sharing capabilities which are the real reason we're creating the small LAN? Or do we need another hub for that?

Sorry, i should add that all are running Windows 98, not 98SE.

The Barricade has a built-in four-port switch and an additional Wide Area Network (WAN) port for the DSL connection. You don't need a hub to network up to four PCs and share the DSL connection. A switch is faster than a hub (see our Networking FAQs for a description of the differences). Larry
