ics time usage

hi
i have 5 computers that hook up together and 1 dsl connection. all use windows me, internet connection sharing program (because i don't want any internet sharing software to run on client computers) and i just wonder if i can trace usage time spend on internet for each individual computer as a log file or otherwise. is it possible to do that under windows me without install any software. maybe you can suggest me program like ics but work without install any software to client computer.
my option can go with upgrade host computer to windows2000 but can this do the work for me?? also any internet sharing hardwares would be last thing on my mind

I believe Sygate (http://duxcw.com/digest/Reviews/Network/sygate/sygate.htm) keeps a log, but I do not remember the details and Sygate requires client software. Trial copies are available for download. I would buy a router. Larry

thanks larry but i had tried sygate before there is occasionaly error on client side i don't want to deal with that problem. i know that router working well for internet sharing but will that also work for usb dsl modem???? because there is no port from modem to connect to router right?
