Problems sharing a DSL connection between 2 computers using Linksys Hub

I have a Win 98 desktop and a Win 2000 Notebook connected to a Linksys 10/100 5 Port hub. I'm trying to share a DSL connection between the 2 computers. I have only 1 IP address from the ISP. Each computer can connect to the DSL modem but only 1 seems to be able to get IE or Outlook Express to work. The computer that first connected to the DSL modem seems to be the one that gets IE to work while the other computer can't get IE to work at the same time.
Do I need a internet sharing software and which one should I use? How can I set this up without getting rid of the Hub and connecting one computer directly to another using x-over cables?

Of the software solutions, I have found that SyGate (http://duxcw.com/digest/Reviews/Network/sygate/sygate.htm) worked best for me. You could use the Internet Connection Sharing software that comes with Windows 98 Second Edition and Me (http://duxcw.com/digest/Howto/network/win98se_cab/intro.htm), but you will need two network adapters in one of the PCs and the MODEM would have to be connected to one of them. Get the router, you will be happy that you did. Larry
