Can i convert crossover to straight thru ?( the cable run is difficult and i dont want to replace cable if poss ). Does a cross over connected to a cross over equal a straight thru ? Thanks 1. See http://duxcw.com/dcforum/DCForumID2/739.html. If the hub has an uplink port, you can connect a PC to it with a crossover cable. Otherwise I would replace the plug at one end of the crossover cable and wire it so it is a straight-thru cable. See http://duxcw.com/digest/Howto/network/cable/cable1.htm for details. Larry
