| "EDO RAM PROBLEM" | |
HI ,i have installed some new Ram 2 lots of 8 meg which are for a socket 7 motherboard.Which i should have a total of 32 megs.When i boot up my pc it shows 32 megs,but when i get into windows and right click on my computer and go to prop it shows only 16 megs of ram .Can anyone help ?? | |

Wrong forum... This thread will be moved to the motherboard forum after you have had a chance to look at it. Windows checks memory and 16 MB of it probably failed the test. It may be a motherboard configuration problem (jumpers?). Try opening a DOS window and typing mem at the command prompt. Larry | |
