URGENT HELP: SMC BARRICADE + MIRC DCC (POST HERE)

Hi Guys,
I need some help here as i'm been trying out to get my mirc outgoing DCC working with this router for months but todate there is still no solutions.
My router is configured to static ip and there are no netbeui. The main computer has been put under DMZ host 192.168.123.1 (which is the one I use to connect to MIRC. I have managed to get the incoming DCC working but have never got the outgoing DCC working.
Any experts out there please kindly reply with the solution. Your help is appreciated. Thanks

With your browser connect to http://192.168.123.254/ (or whatever IP address you may have assigned to the Barricade), login, and click Special AP. Add the following line:
Trigger 59
Incoming Ports 1024-5000
Check Enable
Reboot
I tested mIRC 32-bit, version 5.82 today, using DCC to send and receive a file. It worked just fine with my SMC 7004BR Barricade with firmware version R1.92a.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. Sorry I tried your method it still doesn't work ..which port is ur irc server using..mine is usually using 6667-7000. i have tried changing 1024-5000 to 1024-7000 still it doesn't work.. does the trigger config matters?
please help me...sorry if i sound lame but i'm desperate

You betcha the trigger is required for DCC file transfers. I tired to do it without it and it does not work that way. As I said in my earlier post the configuration worked for me. In fact, I had never used mIRC before. I downloaded a copy, installed and configured everything, learned roughly how to use mIRC chat, and tested it by sending and receiving a file, to specifically answer your question. I just checked router again and the parameters are correct in my previous post. I did nothing with the mIRC firewall option settings. Guess I'm not much on chatting, but it seemed interesting enough that I might try it again on a dead Saturday. Larry
