Is it possible to network my scanner on an ethernet network? I have a HP 6100 SCSI scanner connected to a client on an peer-to-peer network.

The follow-on scanner, 6200, has LAN workgroup functionality in the PrecisionScan software. A PrecisionScan upgrade for the 6000 series is available from HP (http://www.hp.com/cposupport/outside/software/sj411cd.html), but info on HP's site does not state that the LAN portion is in the package. I would think that it would be included, but would not order the upgrade without verifying it. Larry
