No autologin in regedit network trouble please help

I'm trying to run a network in my home. I have two out of the three computers talking to each other. The one i'm trying to connect now just won't do anything in turms of networking. I read here that I sould do this ()… Click Start, Run and enter regedit and expand the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE tree by clicking plus signs as follows:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Network\Real Mode Net
If you see AutoLogin on the right and it has a value other than 0, double click it and change it to 0 (zero). )))
However once I get to this spot there is no autologin.. What should I do?

Are you saying that the computer does not currently prompt to log into Windows or the Client for Microsoft networks? Larry

Do this RIGHT click the network neighborhood icon and go to PROPETIES. In properties what do you have for PRIMARY NETWORK LOGON?

It reads Client for Microsoft Networks. I followed the directions word for word on the other two computers this one just wont take for some reason. I added the netbeui and ect. Nothing seems to work on it.. ( I'm just a beginner to all this so any ideas would be of great help) I'm going to have to hire someone soon I guess

Also go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Network
in the registry. If the the following entry exists, delete it as well:
Disable Password Caching. Larry
