Re-installation of Office 97, possible if key code lost?

I had to format my hardrive, and came to realize that I do not have the key code for my MS Office 97 Small Business Edition. This disk was for distribution with New PC's only.
Is it possible to install anyway, or is there a way to obtain a new key code?

You'll have to go to MicroSoft for that. Or, the manufacturer of your PC may have it on file with the PC serial number. Just in case you may have installed it on another hard disk or have a backup, the key code is in the Windows Registry. Larry

Thanks Larry. I'll look through some old disks to see if I have a backup.
