got ghost 6.01. Made a image file of boot partition saved it to hard disk. Went back to windows, burned the image to cd.Went to test it. Booted with a windows disk, loaded with cd support. At a prompt put in ghost floppy, typed ghost.exe, went into settings, picked load partition from image, picked c as the partition to load to, pointed it to the cd rom drive that had the burned image. clicked ok, gave the image size, and so forth asked me if i wanted to proceed, then i stopped it so i wouldn't overwrite.
does this sound right? I do not have time to read the 166 page user's manual and chase my 9 month old around @ the same time.
any suggestions? Can i put sys files and cd drivers on the ghost disk and get ghost to recognize cd rom drives and avoid the windows boot all together????
thanks!
