The HP 8100i can encode CD Text but the software that was supplied with the Writer will not allow it, you will need to use a 3rd software program. 2. RE: HP 8100i lbyard May-31-01 02:34 PM In response to message 1
CD-Text is a recent extension that allows text and graphics such as the name of the artists’ names and song titles, to be written to (and read from) an audio CD in addition to audio tracks. Go to http://www.ncf.carleton.ca/~aa571/cdtext.htm for more info, including products capable of CD-Text. Go to http://www.roxio.com/en/support/ecdc/ecdccdtext.html for an upgrade. Larry
