3 beeps

If they are on long beep followed two short ones, pull your video card and reseat it (with the computer power cord unplugged). On some systems the monitor not on or not plugged into the video card properly can also cause it. Look for bent pins on the monitor cable plug. I believe the motherboard is 6ABX2V ATX form factor ( not real sure though ) it is an off brand made by a CCM computer that went out of business. I don't think it is the monitor cable or cables as I run 3 monitors. I think it might have something to do with the heat( but I'm not sure ) as it is only happening in the afternoon when it is hot. I run them all day long and then shut them off for a while and then fire em back up so it is only beeping in the afternoon right around 4oclock when it is hottest. It is a little cooler today so maybe that will let me know if it is heat related.

If that is the model number, it is probably a Lucky Star. The manual can be downloaded from http://www.lucky-star.com.tw/technical/manual/intel.htm#SLOT-1%20M/B. I think they could do with a better translation:
"Beep sound
On power on, the system make beep sound to offer different messages. If the system is configured correctly, it prompts a short beep to show correct the devices configuration is done correctly. When VGA card and DIMM modules are not plugged well, the system makes longer and constant beep sounds. "
