Hp Scanjet 5200C

I have Delrina Win FAX PRO 4.0. I usually hit Scan under Win FAX PRO and am able to scan into my fax. Lately I put a document in the scanner, hit "Scan" and an error box comes up. It says:
"Delrina Win Fax PRO - Error opening source. Please check your scanner and make sure it's ready to scan."
What is going on? Anybody know how to fix this?

Helen, Ask, "What changed since the last time it worked?"...
Make sure the scanner works with PrecisionScan.

It may be time to upgrade your software. Version 4.0 is really old. Larry
