I know that Microsoft Paint is supposed to come with Windows 98, but I can't find it on my computer. Is there a way to get it/download it from somewhere else? 1. RE: Microsoft Paint lbyard Aug-08-01 07:06 PM In response to message 0
If you don’t see it in Start, Programs, Accessories, and expanding the menu list by clicking the two arrows pointing down, click Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Microsoft Setup, Accessories, Details, Check Paint, Ok, Ok. Try pointing Windows Setup to C:\windows\options\cabs if you don't have the CD and it is looking for it at your CD-ROM drive. Larry 2. RE: Microsoft Paint - Thanks Larry... I tried what you said and I found the Pbrush.exe file in my c:\windows folder. But when I try to access it nothing happens. I double click on the icon, the hour glass appears for a few seconds, then nothing. Any more suggestions? 3. RE: Microsoft Paint - Thanks Larry... lbyard Aug-09-01 05:53 AM In response to message 2
Uninstall it by unchecking the box, make sure the file is not longer present, restart Windows, and reinstall it. Larry
