Boot failure! HELP!

I was installing a new CD-RW drive and I must have screwed something up, cause now my computer won't boot.
When I turn it on, it's really really quiet and doesn't whir or click like usual when starting. Then it takes a long time before saying something like "Disk boot failure. Insert system disk and press enter".
I do that, and it takes a few more minutes before saying the same thing.
Now I'm pretty sure the clicking I usually hear is the floppy drive, so that may not be working right.
Also, there's some wire labeled "Power SW" that's not connected, and I don't know where it goes.
Help!

Always ask, “What changed?” Take the CD-RW installation floppy out of the floppy drive, if one was left there. Disconnect both cables on the CD-RW drive and verify the cables on the hard disk drive. Be sure the hard disk drive is jumpered the way it was before the CD-RW was installed (Master with no Slave installed, or just as a Master drive if that setting isn’t available).
