I would like to test my CPUs overclocking capabilities
) , but the biggest problem is that I can't see his temperature. In my BIOS it says CPU diode temp. "0" C degrees.
My cooler cable is connected properly and its working OK. On my MBO there's a connector for chassis fan, is there a way to get temperature measurement by connecting my CPU fan to that connector ?
Is it possible that my cooler doesn't send temp. information to MBO ?
BTW, my configuration is :
MBO Soyo sy6vba Slot 1
CPU Celeron 466 pga (Mendocino)
Slotket (no name)
Cooler (don't know, very cheap
). I've looked it's connected to MBO with 3 wires ... (does it mean that the third wire is for sensor ?)
Thanx in advance for all your help.
