Audio Alarm

I just replaced the ATX power supply in my PC. The form factor and power levels seem OK, but when I power the PC on, after about 20 minutes it sends out a very load siren type warning alarm from the speaker off the mother board.
Any idea what the alarm indicates?

I don't think it is overheating because when I power it up without anything connected (monitor, keyboard, etc.) and with the cover off the it still gives me the alarm after about 20 minutes.

Why? That doesn't disconnect the CPU, does it? Larry
