At a client site, printing to a dot matrix is OK in Windows (95) and OK in DOS EDIT but fails from the command prompt (DIR > LPT1 or COPY filename LPT1) although the printer port is LPT1.Sometimes this reboots the machine.
Trying the same to LPT2 (COPY filename LPT2) reports '1 file(s) copied' but does not output on the printer.
Would be grateful for any assistance.
