CANON BJC3000 UNDER WIN XP

i am having the same problem as fkheng that you tryed to sort out on the dux forum ref canon bjc3000 printer and windows xp i have already tryed what you have suggested to no avail will not recognise my usb printer just says usb device not recognised worked fine under win 98 se and win me?? please help been without a printer for coming upto a month now have installed correct driver etc but computer is not communicating with printer

no i have already got this driver installed the problem is that xp is not recognising this as a usb device

>you are not going to belive this but after 30 mins to canon going through everything it turned out all you need to do is have the windows xp disc sitting in the disc drive for windows to recognise your printer under xp hope this helps anybody else with this problem bizzare i know !!!!
