Is it the Power Suppy?

My computer(athlon 1.2ghz, hercules 65mb video card, maxtor 40 gig 7200 hard drive and so on), wont turn on at least for more than a few seconds. I recently changed the cpu fan from a volcano 2 to a volcano 7 and it booted up fine. But I went to turn it on last night and it just turns on for about 3-4 seconds and shuts right back off. No other changes were made to the computer other than the cpu fan.

It could be the power supply, but it is usually a short somewhere tripping-out the power supply. Pick the computer up, shake it, and listen for a loose screw. More steps are at http://duxcw.com/faq/mb/mb.htm. Larry
