Hi to all,I am a current user of Toshiba Satellite Pro 4300 Series Note book with windows 98 SE with 64 MB RAM. I have a hard time to project my notebook screen image onto the Plasma Display in my conference room when I press Fn + F5 function key.
So Before I send you this email I did the followings:
(1) I did download the latest BIOS (version 2.70 for Satellite Pro 4200-4300 series) and install it onto my laptop.
(2)I have chosen simultaneous displays under TSETUP (Refer to the Toshiba User's Manual of my laptop at 8-33). This does not help at all.
(3) I did a control experiment and used 3 different models of Toshiba laptops to connect to LCD Projector Plasma Panel Screen :
(a)Satellite220 CDS (Win98SE)
(b)Satellite Pro 430 CDT(Win98SE)
(c)Satellite Pro 435 CDS(Win98SE)
All three of them are running fine and I can see both image on my laptop LCD screen and the LCD projector Panel when I press Fn + F5. (under 256, 16 bits color with 800 X600 or 1024 X 768 resolution)
(4) I also connect a HP laptop notebook and the image can show up at both LCD screen at the same by using Fn + F5.
So at least to this point, I think there is nothing wrong between the connection of the laptop and the Plasma displays. So I would like to know what should I do next to rectify the problem.
Please advise. Thank you for your help in advance.
