Hi,
I am not sure if this is the correct place to put this one, but anyhow I will ask.This guy had his browser hijacked.
He uses Win98 SE and everytime he opens a browser his home page will not come up. He went into Tools>Internet Options>General to try and put the settings back to his home page but it is all now blanked out.
It goes to a porn site called Lolita or something to that effect.
Is this Browser hijacking?
How can this be fixed?
Would he uninstall IE5 which I think he has running at the moment, though he could have Netscape, not sure, and re-install it?
Or does he now have to do something in his registry?
