blank screen

I'm building a Athlon computer. CPU 600 mhz, video card AGP, OS windows 98 SE. The system will boot properly and run great. The problem is when you do a warm boot, the screen will stay blank until you do a cold boot. I have look at drivers and they are current. I don't receive any error messages.

I've seen this happen...in many cases it turned out to be the video card not being properly initialized on soft boot...I have also come across monitors that go into "suspend mode" and dont quite "wake up"...pressing the monitor pwr button off and on will "wake it up, but thats almost as bad as where you're at now..haha
