AMD just E-Mailed AMD Resellers a Tech Tip on Socket A Athlon and Duron heatsinks. I would suggest reading it before throwing the power switch on that computer with your new Athlon or Duron. Hi Larry;
When I got my Duron it came boxed from AMD with a heat sink, fan and the heat-sink compound applied. Also a booklet that covered what your post covered.
